Administrative Assistant

This posting is for a full-time permanent position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

We are seeking a personable and dedicated team member, committed to exceptional client service through clear communication, self-motivated, and with a strong attention to detail.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Yukon Parks Team, providing support with administrative and financial processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The incumbent performs general office duties, assists with special projects as needed, responds to public inquiries, supports financial functions, and is the first point of contact for visitors and clients.

Essential Qualifications

  • Certificate in office or business administration, or similar program, or relevant experience.
  • Experience providing administrative support, preferably to a team of professionals.
  • Experience providing financial support (monitoring and reporting on financial commitments, transactions, budgets, etc.).
  • Experience analyzing data and producing financial reports.

Candidates with post-secondary coursework in office or business administration, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
