Salary Range : $48409.76 - $60512.20 per annum. Job Summary

Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.

The Parliamentary Education Office is seeking an organized efficient and service-oriented individual for the regular full-time position of Administrative Assistant.

Reporting to the Parliamentary Education Manager the Administrative Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the Parliamentary Education Office (PEO). This role is responsible for administrative logistical and financial support for the department and provides non-partisan service and supports inquiries parliamentary events programs projects and communications related to the activities of PEO.

Qualifications

Applicants must be / have :

  • Post-secondary education in office administration or a related program plus at least 1 year of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following :

  • Experience with an ERP system such as Workday.
  • Experience in formatting editing and publishing resources to technological platforms.
