Qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) experience at Flyover an asset.
  • Must be flexible with the work schedule and available for weekdays and/or weekends.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Completing daily cash control duties including cash reconciliations with the cash recycler.
  • Processing vouchers and assisting the accounts receivable team in issuing invoices.
  • Providing guests with impeccable guest service including responding to guest calls and email inquiries.
  • Assisting Marketing and Sales departments with complimentary ticket requests.
  • Supporting group booking inquiries including creating reservations and collecting payment.
  • Providing online reservation assistance including issuing and updating Ticket Times.

Job description

As an Office Administration Assistant, you will be empowered to ensure our guests receive both accurate expectations about the Flyover experience as well as a friendly, memorable impression of the attraction. This position requires staying up to date on current procedures, events and any other relevant information ensuring to provide the correct information to inquiring guests and team members. Representing a popular attraction in Vancouver, the Office Administration Assistant is responsible for creating and sustaining a fun environment for fellow team members and guests alike. The Office Administration Assistant should always strive to represent both Flyover as well as Vancouver in a positive attitude.

This is a part-time seasonal role required for a specific period from late July-October 18th, 2025.

What is the compensation for this role?

The wage for this role is $19.45 CAD hourly and a full breakdown of perks and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.

What will you do in this job?

  • Completing daily cash control duties including cash reconciliations with the cash recycler, verifying and correcting cash variance, cash deposits, creating coin order request, reconciling monthly petty cash
  • Processing vouchers and assisting the accounts receivable team issuing invoices
  • Providing guests with impeccable guest service including responding to guest calls and email enquiries, finding resolutions, providing accurate information & setting up expectations for guests regarding their experience at Flyover.
  • Assisting Marketing and Sales departments with complimentary ticket requests
  • Supporting group booking enquiries including creating reservations, collecting payment, updating tickets, authorizing & processing refunds etc.
  • Providing online reservation assistance including issuing and updating Ticket Times, upgrading tickets, processing online transactions, authorizing & processing refunds
  • Responding to, escalating, and distributing emails from general information inboxes
  • Assisting and completing other administrative tasks as needed

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Internally motivated, good problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team as well as unsupervised
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly demeanor
  • Point of Sales proficiency
  • Clear in both oral and written communications in English language
  • Solid competency in basic MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; Work with MS Chat, MS Teams a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge about Vancouver and local area an asset
  • 1+ year / s experience at Flyover an asset
  • Experience in a tourism / hospitality industry an asset
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset
  • Be prepared – this role requires legal ability to work in Canada
  • Must be flexible with the work schedule and available for weekdays and / or weekends
