Job description

We are seeking an administrative assistant to support the VTT Engineering team and the Quality Engineering and Crate and Decal teams. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development of the organization.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Provide administrative support to assigned teams and perform follow-ups;
  • Assist directors with departmental management tasks, such as preparing presentations and coordinating team meetings;
  • Organize business travel and manage expense reports;
  • Prepare for new employee onboarding, including access requests and computer equipment;
  • Participate in meetings with other administrative assistants to share best practices;
  • Manage and process confidential information and documents;
  • Handle purchase requisitions;
  • Support departmental budgeting and forecasting.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Training in administration, secretarial, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite;
  • Fluent in French and English, both oral and written;
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills;
  • Excellent organizational and autonomous work qualities;
  • Good team spirit, resourcefulness, and ability to work under pressure;
  • Discretion and professionalism.
