Administrative Assistant

Fiskars Group is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to support front desk operations and provide cross-functional administrative support. Based at our Middleton, WI location, this full-time, on-site role is essential in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth day-to-day coordination of key business activities across departments.
This role also includes direct support to the Sales and Channel teams, helping manage reporting, item setup, coordination of internal meetings, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Front Desk Support
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
Answer the main switchboard and respond to front desk emails and voicemails
Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and onsite events
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx/UPS shipments, and office supply inventory
Maintain the building badge system, including access updates, replacements, and visitor badges
Support HR with onboarding/offboarding tasks (e.g., new hire setup, tours, welcome kits, badge creation)
Coordinate Facilities requests including contractor access, service tickets, HVAC/temp changes, vending issues, and general maintenance
Process invoices and expense reports for Facilities, Legal, HR, and other functions using Basware and Concur
Assist in scheduling and organizing company-wide events such as Town Halls
Provide administrative and project support to the Sales and Channel teams
Manage PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) coordination for setting up new products and programs in SAP
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Packaging, Purchasing , Operations, and Finance to ensure smooth item setup and execution
Track project milestones, update documentation, and ensure key deadlines are met
Support the creation of tactical briefs and completion of RFQ forms
Coordinate internal Sales meetings and quarterly/annual business planning sessions
Assist with ad hoc reporting to support Sales strategy, territory analysis, and broker performance tracking
Manage sales and line review sample logistics and item data
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma required
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
Experience:
1–3 years of administrative or office support experience
Experience supporting Sales or cross-functional teams preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organization and project coordination abilities
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Professional demeanor with a strong customer service orientation
Initiative-driven, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
