In this role, the administrative assistant will be crucial in providing support to the Defined Contribution Pension Administration practice area. As a shared services team member, you will provide assistance to both the Defined Contribution Pension Administration as well as Health & Wellbeing departments with incoming and outgoing documents on a daily basis as well as general administration tasks.

What you’ll do

  1. Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
  2. Assist with invoicing for clients and other providers
  3. Work on year end deliverables such as statement and tax slip production
  4. Ensure all audit and peer review processes are followed
  5. Attend and participate in team meetings
  6. Receive and respond to team inquiries and requests
  7. Attend internal training sessions to build knowledge
  8. Understand the team and client’s perspective and priorities
  9. Participate on annual and adhoc projects as required
What you bring

  1. Post-secondary education or a minimum of two years of relevant experience
  2. WorkDay proficiency considered an asset
  3. Ability to multitask
  4. Attention to detail is essential
  5. Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence
  6. Exceptional customer focus with strong professional acumen
  7. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  8. A good understanding of personal computers and software, particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (MS Office certificate preferred)
  9. Experience working in the group benefits or pension industry
