Responsibilities

  1. Review, sort, draft, proof, and finalize client deliverables and process e-returns
  2. Prepare, review, and modify general templates, letters, and reports
  3. Maintain and update spreadsheets for tracking client deliverables
  4. Track upcoming client year-ends and monitor deadlines
  5. Fax, photocopy, and scan documents as required
  6. Assist in creating and assembling presentations
  7. Conduct quality reviews (accuracy, completeness, appearance) of outgoing correspondence
  8. Be well organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong prioritizing and follow-up skills
  9. Have strong interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, staff, and outside parties
  10. Prioritize urgent matters due to various timelines and deadlines
  11. Perform other related administrative duties as required

Skills and Experience

  • Completion of related post-secondary education in administration is an asset
  • Two to four years of related administrative/clerical experience
  • Strong computer literacy, including effective skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with Caseware, Caseview, and TaxCycle is considered an asset
