We have an exciting contract opportunity for a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join our talented team working out of our Pickering office. Reporting to the Administrative Manager, this opportunity will offer the successful candidate the chance to be an integral part of the company's administration team, working in-office on a variety of technical and administrative tasks.

Our administrative support team is revered for their strong technical skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

What you can expect in the role :
  • Providing administrative support for technical staff, including correspondence, report/proposal/tender document and payment certificate preparation, mail merges, meeting minutes, agendas, filing, etc.;
  • Document control and application of company standards;
  • Reception and general office duties (including switchboard, maintaining boardrooms, ordering catering, office supplies, and coordinating office upkeep);
  • Processing and distributing incoming/outgoing mail and couriers;
  • Scheduling meetings and interacting with clients and internal staff on behalf of project managers; and
  • Other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for / What you will bring :
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience with a focus on document production and editing;
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary education in Business Administration or relevant experience;
  • Excellent computer skills (SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat DC) with demonstrated interest and ability to learn new systems;
  • Familiarity with styles and templates in MS Word;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills;
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required;
  • Ability to work in-office: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
