Job description

Canadian Hail Agencies is a crop hail insurance company serving producers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Canadian Hail is owned by HUB International Ltd.

As an Administrative Associate, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  1. Data entry
  2. Answering phones
  3. Handling all aspects of the mail system, which consists of receiving, opening, and organizing incoming mail and completing mail outs
  4. Filing
  5. Sorting paperwork
  6. Completing general office duties in a busy office environment

Job Requirements:

  • Superior keyboarding and data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be well organized and able to multi-task under pressure
  • Must be capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Agricultural background is an asset, but not required

Job Type: Seasonal

Contract length: 12 weeks (May 5, 2025 – August 1, 2025)

Salary: $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Parksville, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
