What is the opportunity?

A well-established Wealth Management team in Lethbridge is looking for a proactive, task-oriented and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Administrative Assistant.

By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and our Advisor teams, you will help deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Offering efficient internal support, you will be invaluable in ensuring the Advisory teams function fluidly and that each member receives the assistance they need to perform at their best.

What will you do?

  1. Impact client experience through execution of client account administration, including account opening, account maintenance and efficient resolution of client requests.
  2. Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients. You will be responsible for managing timelines and key dates for accounts to help ensure clients feel supported by our team.
  3. Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and other necessary documentation is accurate, up-to-date and compliant.
  4. Respond to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner (account transactions, requests, account documentation, account reporting, etc.).
  5. Leverage your passion for organizing, coordinating and preparing meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
  6. Participate in team marketing efforts.

  5. Demonstrate skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm and friendly to our high net-worth clients.
  6. Exceptional verbal and written communication in English.

Nice-to-have

  1. Familiarity in the financial sector.
  2. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH).
  3. Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures.
  4. Experience in the securities industry and in the regulatory requirements would be an asset.
