Job summary

Qualifications

Position Overview

Provide administrative support to the Site Manager and the Main Operating Base (MOB) Comox Canadian SAR Helicopter Team.

What You Will Do
  • Provide general administrative support, including typing memos, presentations, proposals, distributing mail, answering phones, and taking minutes.
  • Prepare paperwork related to Person Responsible for Assignment Authority (PRAA) authorization.
  • Maintain correspondence and filing systems.
  • Take minutes at meetings.
  • Coordinate office supplies acquisition for MOB.
  • Arrange staff and visitor travel and prepare travel claims.
  • Coordinate visitor security arrangements at MOB.
  • Manage MOB vacation requests and CTO software.
  • Complete daily timekeeping.
  • Assist in tracking financial transactions, reconciling credit card expenditures, petty cash, and other processes.
  • Update routine office lists, forms, registers, and amend Standard Plant Procedures, Administrative Directive, Quality Standard Procedures.
  • Coordinate MOB submissions to WorkSafe BC.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager.
What You Will Bring
