The RBC Dominion Securities branch in downtown Edmonton is seeking a proactive, task-oriented, and collaborative individual to join as an Administrative Assistant.

You will provide exceptional service and support to clients and Advisor teams, helping deepen relationships and welcoming new clients. Your efficient internal support will ensure the Advisory teams function smoothly, with each member receiving the assistance needed to excel.

What will you do?

  • Enhance client experience through account administration, including opening, maintenance, and resolving client requests.
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities for contact, managing timelines and key dates to support clients.
  • Ensure compliance by understanding internal controls and industry regulations, keeping client files and documentation accurate and up-to-date.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries related to transactions, requests, documentation, and reporting.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Experience working in the financial sector and with business applications/technology
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong client service skills with a professional, warm, and friendly demeanor for high-net-worth clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice-to-have

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH)
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
  • Experience in the securities industry and regulatory requirements
