We are searching for a talented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Edmonton .
This position involves a range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of our teams. You are a natural team player who is detail-oriented and an excellent communicator with effective organizational skills. You enjoy working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, and consistently deliver quality work. You adapt easily to change and have strong judgment and reasoning skills, which you apply to improve systems and processes. This position also offers autonomy, as tasks will be completed with minimal supervision.
What you will be doing :
- Coordinating and facilitating administrative systems and processes to optimize work delivery.
- Preparing reports, contract documents, letters, and presentation slides in accordance with professional standards.
- Providing project administration assistance (e.g., opening and closing projects, scope changes).
- Assisting and coordinating project delivery (e.g., word processing, printing, document assembly, invoice review).
- Completing editorial reviews of written deliverables for clients and external parties.
- Assisting with proposal preparation and other business development materials.
- Handling general administrative tasks such as travel and meeting coordination and records management.
- Occasional receptionist duties as required.
Job Requirements
What you will bring :
An undergraduate degree or diploma in business administration, office administration, or a related field.8+ years’ administrative experience, preferably in a professional office environment.Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other office software.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Technical writing and editorial experience are assets.Experience in the environmental / engineering consulting industry is an asset.Experience with marketing / business development activities is an asset.Experience using graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is an asset.What we offer :
