Responsibilities

Tasks

  1. Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures
  2. Coordinate the activities of the HR department in order to ensure they meet the organization’s goals
  3. Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  4. Direct and control daily operations
  5. Direct staff
  6. Evaluate daily operations
  7. Open and distribute mail and other materials
  8. Plan and control budget and expenditures
  9. Plan and organize daily operations
  10. Supervise other workers
  11. Train staff
  12. Establish and implement policies and procedures
  13. Train other workers
  14. Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  15. Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
  16. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  17. Schedule and confirm appointments
  18. Manage contracts
  19. Manage training and development strategies
  20. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  21. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  22. Answer electronic enquiries
  23. Oversee development of communication strategies
  24. Compile data, statistics and other information
  25. Oversee the preparation of reports
  26. Respond to employee questions and complaints
  27. Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  28. Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  29. Oversee payroll administration
  30. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  31. Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  32. Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  33. Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  34. Perform data entry
  35. Provide customer service
  36. Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
  37. Maintain and manage digital database
  38. Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  39. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  40. Conduct performance reviews
  41. Supervise office and volunteer staff
