An established industry player is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to support their operations and engage with the community. The Federation of Canadian Artists is a non-profit visual arts organization founded in 1941 by members of the Group of Seven. Today, with over 2,900 members, we support emerging and established artists across Canada. Our extensive education program offers workshops, classes, critiques, and lectures in fine arts media, led by successful established artists who help all artists and the public explore and develop their artistic talents.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our operations and engage with our community. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the arts, seeking professional experience in arts administration, and eager to contribute to meaningful cultural initiatives.
There is significant room for growth as this role evolves, offering opportunities to expand responsibilities and deepen impact within the organization.
Reports to: Gallery Coordinator
Schedule: 14 hours/week, two days a week (10:00 AM - 5:30 PM), with occasional additional shifts. One of the regular work days should be on the weekend.
