Administrative Assistant - Developmental Services

One Full-Time Contract to March 31, 2026 (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent)

  • Location: Aurora, Ontario L4G3S9
    • must be within a commutable daily distance from the office and/or service area
  • Status: Contract, Full-Time
  • Starting Hourly Rate: $24.08 / Hour
  • Office Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 35 Hours per week
  • Office Expectations; Work in the office to provide team coverage, minimum three days per week in addition to in-office meetings, trainings, and supervisions
  • Posting Closes: Friday, September 5 at 4:00 pm EST

Job Description

The administrative professional we are searching for will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Developmental Services Regional Team. They will also participate as a member of YSSN’s Administrative team.

Position Requirements

  • Business College or equivalent education
  • Experience;
    • Minimum of two years experience
    • Has significant and progressive experience in an office environment, providing support to management and/or teams
    • Strong familiarity with meeting coordination and participation, including excellent minute-taking skills
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
    • Strong skills in working with databases
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to multi-task effectively
    • Knowledge of community services related to developmental services
    • Brings a dedicated work ethic, flexibility, strong attention to detail and understands the importance of confidentiality
  • Familiarity with Webtracker a definite asset
  • Familiarity with clinical databases and data manipulation considered an asset
  • Second language is considered an asset
  • An understanding of cultural diversity is considered an asset
  • The successful applicant will be required to provide a police clearance that meets agency standards
  • A valid G Drivers License, access to a reliable vehicle and adequate insurance coverage for business responsibilities, OR access to reliable transportation
