Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Bilingual Drug Safety Coordinator to join our pharmacovigilance team in Canada. The role requires fluency in English and French and a life sciences background, with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.

You will manage adverse event data, coordinate with internal and external clients, and ensure compliant documentation across safety databases. The successful candidate will maintain high data quality and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum science graduate with 6 months to 1 year experience.
• Diploma or degree with a Life Sciences concentration is a strong asset.
• Bilingual English & French is mandatory.
• Able to work any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Information Management and Pharmacovigilance: Receive, scan and document all pertinent clinical information in compliance with SOP/protocol and applicable legislation
• Work directly with internal and external clients to request additional information or clarification as necessary
• Review patient information in database and ensure accurate documentation as per client needs
• Attach Post Infusion Reports to databases to ensure proper documentation for patient assistance and drug safety program needs
• Data entry into program specific databases and Quality Management System
• Sorting, filing and review of incoming faxes and documents
• Assist in processing translation of documents
• Perform quality check on adverse event reports as directed by the work instructions
• Assist in literature search and review activities
• Perform reconciliation activities with internal and external clients/partners
• Conduct follow-up and clarification seeking activities as required to ensure completeness of safety reports
• The Drug Safety Coordinator will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time
• May be required to be on standby/on call as part of this role

OR

We are even open to fresh graduates with strong academic background with fluency in French & English.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Experience And Educational Requirements

• Minimum science graduate with 6 months to 1 year experience, with interest to work in Drug Safety/ Pharmacovigilance role can apply.
• A diploma or degree with a concentration in Life Sciences is a strong asset;
• Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance industry is an asset
• Adaptability to change and to learn new skills as required;
• Experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical field(s), medical terminology is an asset;
• Bilingual, English & French is mandatory
• Able to work any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM-8 PM, if necessary

SALARY BUDGET FOR THIS ROLE

CAD $50000 TO 52000 Annually (maximum)
