We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator working hybrid from our Montreal office. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the Contracts Administrator will be responsible for the production, negotiation, and administration of contracts under the supervision of the Legal department. The role involves interaction with other departments and organizational leaders.

What You’ll Do:
  • Review, draft, redline, and negotiate various contracts, including project contracts, supply agreements, leases, customer service contracts, and RFPs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to review, negotiate, and finalize project-related contracts, including compliance with labor, insurance, and surety requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as legal, sales, operations, and finance to facilitate contract approval processes and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records, tracking key dates and milestones.
  • Address contract-related questions and concerns from internal and external parties.
  • Participate in project issues and dispute resolution, providing legal support as needed.
  • Update and manage the contract database to track active contracts and upcoming expirations.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Experience & Education:
  • Degree in Paralegal Studies or higher (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in legal support roles involving contract management and negotiation, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Highly meticulous with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to utilize French professionally; most tasks will be performed in English due to business needs.
  • Customer-focused support with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective team collaboration and independent work skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, changing environments while meeting deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to new situations.
  • Experience negotiating contracts independently with external parties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF.
