A leading company is looking for a Senior SharePoint Administrator in Montreal to spearhead the deployment and customization of SharePoint solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep expertise in SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to collaborate with various teams, ensuring that solutions meet security and governance standards. We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Administrator to lead the deployment, , customization, and support of SharePoint-based solutions across the firm. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Online, proven experience in enterprise integration and customization, and a strong understanding of SharePoint security and governance. This role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills, as the developer will work closely with business units, project managers, and IT teams to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, build, and maintain SharePoint environments, including team sites, intranet portals, document libraries, and custom intranet experiences tailored to business needs.
Develop custom SharePoint solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps and PowerShell Integrate SharePoint with external systems (e.g., Microsoft 365 apps, ERP, CRM, third-party APIs).
Configure and manage SharePoint permissions, site collections, roles, and access controls.
Define and enforce best practices for SharePoint architecture, information structure, and security.
Implement and support enterprise content management (ECM) standards and document lifecycle governance.
Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure solutions meet specifications, timelines, and usability requirements.
Work closely with security teams to ensure alignment with data governance and compliance regulations
Diagnose and troubleshoot SharePoint-related performance, access, or integration issues in collaboration with infrastructure and support teams.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, solutions, and custom components.
Provide training and support to end users and internal teams on SharePoint features and custom tools.
Lead or contribute to SharePoint migration projects, including upgrades and transitions from on-premise to SharePoint Online.
Sustain and enhance existing SharePoint development environments and custom applications over time.
Qualifications :
Minimum 6 years of hands-on SharePoint Management experience, preferably in a mid-to-large-sized enterprise.
Deep understanding of SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Strong knowledge of SharePoint permissions model, site collections, content types, metadata, and search configuration.
Familiarity with integration methods (REST, Graph API, webhooks, Azure Logic Apps).
Experience implementing or working within a secure SharePoint governance model.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bilingual (French and English) – written and spoken proficiency in both languages is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
