Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking dedicated Production Workers to join a food manufacturing facility across the Lower Mainland, BC. You will operate production equipment, assist with assembly, packaging, and labeling while maintaining safety and GMP.

No prior experience required; training provided. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; basic English; strong teamwork and reliability valued; overtime opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or warehouse is an asset, but training is provided.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment, assist with assembly, processing and packaging of food products.
• Inspect products for defects, report issues per quality standards.
• Package and label finished goods for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area in line with GMP.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and Processing: Operate and monitor production equipment, and assist with the preparation, assembly, and packaging of food products according to company specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, ensure all items meet our strict quality standards, and report any issues immediately.
• Packaging and Labeling: Accurately package and label finished goods for shipping and distribution.
• Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company hygiene policies.
• Safety Adherence: Follow all established safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks.
• Hygiene & Safety: Strong commitment to food safety and personal hygiene practices (GMP).
• Attention to Detail: Excellent ability to identify and address product quality issues.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
