Safran is hiring at the Mirabel plant to hone attachment points of main landing gear components using air-powered tools and precision equipment. You will inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, machine with a lathe, install precision rings, and apply sealant to ensure exact tolerances.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, meticulous work, and strong organizational skills, with a shift pattern that may include weekends.

Qualificações

• DEP in aeronautical structure assembly or DES (equivalence not accepted) with relevant experience.
• Experience in manual work with pneumatic tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manual honing or assembly in aeronautics is an asset.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments (calipers and micrometers).

Responsabilidades

• Hone attachment points of main landing gear components using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment.
• Inspect parts using measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Machine using a lathe and install the rings; apply sealant.
• Complete QA documentation and contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, costs and on-time deliveries.

It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.You will perform, using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment, the honing of attachment points of the main landing gear components according to specifications.
