A Regular Day For You Will Include
- Review and adjudicate vehicle loan applications by assessing an applicants’ creditworthiness based on credit history, income and employment, and collateral valuation.
- Ensure loan applications are assessed accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented and able to closely follow credit policy rules to ensure risk parameters are consistently followed.
- Develop and maintain respectful relationships with dealers.
- Work collaboratively with departments such as Sales, Income, Funding, and with dealer partners.
- Execute detailed document review ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and properly registered.
- Provide prompt, efficient, customer-oriented service to all stakeholders.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Must-haves
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow detailed credit policy guidelines and review credit applications thoroughly.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Good collaboration skills across teams and departments.
- Availability to work all shifts mentioned in the job description.
- Clear criminal reference check.
Extra- awesome to have
- At least 1 year of experience in loan underwriting, especially in financial institutions or the auto industry.
- Experience with loan origination software.
- Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration.
Working conditions
- Hours of operation are between 8 AM to 10 PM EST, Monday to Friday, and Saturday from 9 AM to 8 PM EST.
- Option for permanent Saturday shifts with rotating days off; schedules are planned 6 months in advance.
- Weekday shifts are primarily set, with Saturday start times rotating.
This position will be vacant on April 25th, 2025.
