Job description: A supervisor of a catering service oversees food service operations, ensuring the preparation and delivery of various dishes according to client orders. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating event logistics, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role may involve supervising staff, managing schedules, overseeing inventory, and driving a vehicle for work-related purposes.

Main duties:

  • Sales & Business Development: Build relationships with clients, respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, develop catering packages, and track sales performance.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Plan logistics, coordinate with kitchen and service teams, ensure safety standards, and oversee event execution.
  • Team & Schedule Management: Create staff schedules, lead service staff, assist in hiring and training, and handle last-minute changes.
  • Inventory & Equipment Oversight: Monitor supplies, manage inventory, and ensure equipment functionality.
