About the London HART Hub

The London HART Hub is a low barrier recovery-oriented space supporting individuals experiencing homelessness with mental health and addiction needs. It provides access to evidence-informed, respectful, trauma-informed, culturally appropriate, and compassionate care. The Hub connects individuals to a continuum of care, including transitional supportive housing, safety, basic needs, healthcare, and mental health and addiction services. For female-identifying individuals, My Sisters' Place offers a female-only space with crash beds and support services to aid in treatment, recovery, and wellness.

What We Offer
  • Starting salary: $27.14/hour (Level 1 – Direct Service), with potential increases based on regulation and seniority, up to $37.26/hour for regulated roles.
  • Work schedule: 70 hours bi-weekly, including nights and weekends.
  • Benefits: 9% in lieu of benefits.
  • Pension: Immediate eligibility for HOOPP.
How You Will Make a Difference
  • Provide a safe, welcoming environment through intake, assessment, treatment planning, and support services.
  • Support clients' physical and mental health improvement with integrated care plans.
  • Meet clients' basic needs and provide referrals to additional supports.
  • Assist with care plan development, service navigation, and crisis intervention.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling using a strengths-based approach.
  • Collaborate with justice supports and assist with transportation needs.
  • Ensure communication accessibility and proper record-keeping in compliance with privacy laws.
  • Support additional HUB sites as needed.
Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field; original credentials required during hiring.
  • Ability to attend work regularly.

Preferred:

  • Certifications in NVCI, ASIST, First Aid, CPR, CPI.
  • Experience with addictions, mental health, homelessness, crisis intervention, or working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of community resources and housing legislation.
  • Bilingual in both official languages is preferred.
