A local community health organization is looking for an Addiction and Mental Health Worker to support individuals with addictions and mental health challenges. This full-time role involves advocating for clients, assisting them in maintaining housing stability, and facilitating health education. Successful candidates will have a degree in social science and a valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check. Competitive salary starting at $27.14/hour, with benefits included.

Every person in our community has the right to safe, affordable, quality housing and to live with dignity and as much independence and choice as possible.
As a member of the Supportive Housing team, you will be supporting individuals who may experience addictions and/or mental health concerns and have struggled with housing stability. Your team will be at the ready to provide early support and intervention, when clients need it most. By supporting clients in our supportive living apartments and through outreach in the larger community, you'll helppreventconcerns from escalating to a point that would have resulted in eviction, accomplishing our goal of keeping our clients housed.
Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC.
