Added - 03/25/25 SharePoint Developer Developer Regina, Saskatchewan | Contract

Position Overview

We are looking for a SharePoint Developer for a 24-month contract position, with possible extensions in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Position is available as remote but candidate may be requested to attend periodic sessions onsite. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.

Role Description

The SharePoint Developer will provide for the day-to-day administration, management and support of the SharePoint environment.

Responsibilities
  • Custom Web Parts, Workflows, and Forms: Developing custom web parts, workflows, and forms to enhance the functionality of SharePoint sites.
  • Site and Application Maintenance: Designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint sites and applications to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Providing technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues to ensure smooth operation.
  • User Training and Documentation: Creating technical documentation and user guides and providing training to users on new systems or updates.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years expertise in SharePoint
  • Expertise with OneDrive, M365 and Exchange Online skills
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer Certification- SharePoint
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist Certification – SharePoint
  • 2 to 4 years of formal education (technical school or university)
  • Have previous experience setting up and supporting Exchange Online and OneDrive
Mandatory Experience

Experience in projects and support that include Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online. This should be from a developer perspective and include:

  • Proficiency in SharePoint Platform: A strong understanding of the SharePoint platform, including its user interface, business intelligence, collaboration, and content management capabilities.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Familiarity with the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Customization and Integration: Experience in designing, developing, and implementing customized SharePoint solutions and integrating them with other systems.
  • Technical Documentation: Ability to create technical documentation and user guides for new systems or updates.
  • Security Management: Ensuring the security of SharePoint systems by setting up and managing user permissions.
