Anishnabeg Outreach is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join their EarlyON Centre in Kitchener. The role involves engaging with children ages 0-6 through play-based programming while fostering relationships with caregivers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge in child development, communicate effectively, and uphold ethical practices in education, providing a nurturing environment for all.
Anishnabeg Outreach is a registered charity guided by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are rooted in a strong mission and values, working primarily within the non-profit sector to support Indigenous individuals and families. Our goal is to provide access to culturally grounded services and help individuals overcome barriers on their journey to self-sufficiency and success.
The Anishnabeg Outreach EarlyON Centre is one of our key programs, led by dedicated Early Childhood Educators. Through a blend of land-based learning, culturally relevant programming, and play-based exploration, we support children’s early development and nurture strong parent / caregiver-child relationships in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
