Job summary

Banner Health, Casper Wyoming, is seeking an Acute Pharmacy Technician to perform medication packaging, distribution, compounding, and record-keeping under pharmacist supervision. The role supports customers, maintains a cleanroom, and assists with staff training while ensuring safe, age-appropriate care.

The technician will identify medications for reorder, manage inventory, and operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software. Strong customer service and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure.
• Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and prioritization capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and restocks medications and supplies to maintain inventory.
• Assists with packaging, distribution and non-sterile compounding under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintains accurate documentation and records per policy and USP guidelines.
• Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure accurate medication delivery.

Education

Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure
