PartnerRe in Toronto is seeking talented actuarial science students for internships in the Pricing, Valuation, and Project teams. These four-month roles offer hands-on industry experience from experts while contributing to the teams' work and vision.
There is a possibility to extend to eight months and a rotation opportunity based on performance. The role includes AXIS Modelling, data analysis with SQL and R, and support for reserves, capital, and IFRS17/ LTDI projects.

The expected base salary range for this position, when hired into our Toronto location, is CAD $1,125 - 1,375 per week. For positions based in other jurisdictions, compensation will be determined in alignment with local regulations, market benchmarks, and internal compensation frameworks. The above range reflects the typical base salary range for candidates hired into this position. The actual salary will vary depending on a number of factors, including job location, experience, qualifications, education/training, skills, market conditions, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

Note that the posted positions are for a 4‑month work term, with the flexibility of extending to 8 months. PartnerRe also offers an opportunity for interns to return and gain experience with our various actuarial teams. This rotation opportunity is dependent of the performance of the student in their first term.
