Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an actuarial science or mathematics degree program.
• SOA exam completed (min 1) and actively pursuing a designation (FSA/FCIA).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a solid work ethic.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access database.
• Knowledge of life insurance products is an asset.
• Verbal & written communication skills; collaboration & team skills; analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prices insurance products with up-to-date pricing assumptions.
• Monitors lapse and mortality/morbidity experience and reports profitability.
• Provides actuarial services advisory for all insurance products.
• Analyzes data to provide insights and management reporting.
• Builds relationships with stakeholders and coordinates management information.
• Supports planning and implementation of operational programs.
