Job summary

TD is offering a co-op/internship in Toronto, Ontario, within the Pricing Actuarial team of TD Life Insurance Company. You will analyze product profitability, support pricing decisions, and assist with reinsurance work while gaining world-class training and a community of student colleagues.

The role requires an undergraduate degree with actuarial exam progress, and a willingness to return to school after the term. It is a winter/Term 2 internship with a 37.5-hour work week in Canada.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in undergrad in relevant field with intent to return to school for term.
• Ability to work in a team or independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end of treaty reinsurance true up packages.
• Assist with preparation of reinsurance treaty yearly renewal packages.
• Support Actuary on claims experience analyses and monitoring.
• Review and update business Policies and Procedures per cycles.
• Support TD Life Insurance Pricing team with ad-hoc requests.
