Our team is looking for actuarial professionals for an Actuarial Consultant role on the Actuarial Financial Modeling (AFM) team. Reporting to the AFM Senior Manager, this position is part of the Finance Team at Allstate Canada Group (ACG) within the Corporate Actuarial department. The AFM team focuses on the economic capital model, Financial Condition Testing (FCT), and financial loss planning. With increasing climate risk regulation, the team will also monitor and ensure compliance with new regulations. Daily work involves collaboration with actuarial, risk, and finance teams, as well as external actuaries. The team members are eligible for Allstate’s Actuarial program, offering future rotation opportunities across various actuarial roles.
As an Actuarial Consultant, your strengths will include technical knowledge, coordination skills, and the ability to learn about emerging issues like climate risk. We seek a confident individual with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of prioritizing projects and managing deadlines. An ambitious person eager to influence organizational results would be ideal for this role.
