Wawanesa Insurance is seeking an Actuarial Expert-Personal Lines Pricing to lead actuarial processes and mentor staff. This role involves analytical mastery, process improvement, and stakeholder management within a hybrid work environment, offering a competitive salary and benefits.
Salary : At Wawanesa, salary is only one component of a holistic, comprehensive and competitive offering that we provide to our employees. The salary offered for this role is determined considering various factors, including but not limited to: your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity, and the knowledge, skills, experience, and anticipated proficiency in the role. The estimated salary range is $110,000 - $170,000. Candidates with expectations outside this range are encouraged to apply.

They serve as experts in actuarial methodologies, mentor staff at all levels, and ensure compliance with regulations across jurisdictions. They innovate current practices and manage multiple high-priority projects. This is a head-office role requiring communication with internal stakeholders across Canada in English.
