Segal is seeking a qualified actuarial candidate in Toronto. The role emphasizes advancing retirement plan actuarial work, requires university-level study in math or actuarial science, and values strong analytical and communication skills.

Experience with Excel and a willingness to pursue actuarial accreditation are preferred. Applicants may be early-career, with 0–3 years of relevant experience, and should demonstrate organization and client-interaction abilities in a consulting environment.

Competenze

• A minimum of two years (and ongoing) undergraduate education or an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related discipline.
• Completion of at least one actuarial exam is preferred and the intent to attain actuarial accreditation is required.
• 0-3 years of retirement plan actuarial experience within a consulting or insurance company environment.
• Relevant computer and software skills (preferably Excel).
• Task management skills.
• Detail-orientation; organization and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively within a diverse group.
