- Member of the Individual Reinsurance Pricing team, supporting the pricing, analysis, and modeling of reinsurance solutions for the Life and Critical Illness lines of business.
- Collaborates closely with peers, actuaries, and key individuals from the Toronto and Montreal offices.
- Assists in developing assumptions and building actuarial models for Individual Life or Critical Illness business, ensuring timely delivery of quality quotes.
- Supports the delivery of work requirements to senior actuarial members and internal clients, managing expectations and ensuring proper documentation.

Position Overview- Supports the pricing, analysis, and modeling of reinsurance solutions for Life and Critical Illness lines.
- Works with peers, actuaries, and key stakeholders from Toronto and Montreal offices.
- Helps develop assumptions and build actuarial models to enable timely and accurate quotes.
- Assists in analyzing data and updating models to report on portfolio profitability.
Your Role:- Build models in AXIS to price products and determine profitability.
- Analyze profitability against past quotes and targets.
- Develop actuarial assumptions for pricing purposes.
- Collect and analyze data to support assumption development.
- Maintain and update pricing models and report on results.
- Contribute to improving pricing methodologies and tools.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and support facultative quote pricing.
Your Profile:- University Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Progressing towards ASA, ACIA, FSA, or FCIA certification.
- Entry-level, open to new graduates or professionals with 0-2 years of experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and SQL preferred.
- Experience with GGY AXIS and Datalink is an asset.
