Job Description
Department Overview

TDI Insurance Risk Management oversees the IRM program and Model Risk Management within TD, ensuring compliance with enterprise frameworks, performing valuation reviews, and producing the ORSA report.

Role Overview

This role supports IRM and MRM functions, including designing insurance risk reports, analyzing risk data, and participating in model reviews to identify issues and propose solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and interpret insurance risk analytics and reporting tools.
  • Participate in model oversight, review assumptions, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with risk partners and contribute to training and culture initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years in actuarial roles within general insurance.
  • Bachelor’s in Actuarial Sciences or related field.
  • ACAS in progress or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SQL, VBA, R preferred.
  • Experience with predictive modeling and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills; adaptable and proactive.
