Part of the Corporate Actuarial department, the Project Development & Optimization team focuses on liability valuation, strategic planning, and risk management for General Insurance. Responsibilities include investigating new actuarial techniques, developing and maintaining tools, reviewing and optimizing processes, conducting analyses, and collaborating with various stakeholders within the company.
In this role, the candidate will:
Skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, programming knowledge (e.g., R, Python, SQL, VBA), understanding of financial statements, insurance industry, and risk management. Soft skills include effective communication, adaptability, stress management, collaboration, and autonomy. Educational requirements include a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science or related field, and progress toward or completion of actuarial credentials.
Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset. The role may be suitable for junior or senior analysts depending on applications.
