As an Actuarial Analyst, you will contribute to pricing initiatives and collaborate with your peers to support actuarial projects to ensure profitability of the Commercial, Farm, & IRCA lines of business.

How you will create impact:
  • Supporting rate change projects and updating various actuarial pricing models.
  • Working with various databases, programming languages and modeling software to contribute to actuarial initiatives.
  • Communicating basic actuarial concepts to your peers and maintaining documentation of key actuarial functions.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of data sources including the ability to reconcile to other sources.
  • Upholding professional ethics, values, procedures and policies that support organizational and professional standards.

To join our team:
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or other related field.
  • You have experience working with various database, and you have strong data analysis skills.
  • Having successfully completed two Actuarial exams and working towards your Associate (ACAS / ACIA) or Fellow (FCAS / FCIA) designation is an asset.
  • You have basic knowledge of modeling software and programming languages (SQL, SAS, R and/or Python).
  • This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

  • Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
  • You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
