Job summary

Blue Mantis Canada is seeking an Active Directory Analyst for a 1-year term to manage user access and security provisioning. The role involves provisioning AD accounts, supporting identity management, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure secure access across systems.

The analyst will handle ServiceNow tickets, maintain AD procedures, and provide practical, timely support during migration projects while communicating clearly with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Active Directory administration and identity/access management.
• PowerShell scripting abilities or experience running scripts.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Active Directory accounts and access to applications.
• Work with clients to assist with account setup, security permissions, and access management.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure proper access provisioning.
• Process and manage ServiceNow requests for security provisioning and updates.
• Develop and maintain Active Directory administration processes and documentation.
• Provide technical support during migration projects in a courteous, responsive manner.
• Coordinate changes with support teams following change management processes.
• Handle service desk requests, fulfill work requests, and resolve issues.
• Communicate with clients, partners, and service teams via email and phone.

We are looking for an Active Directory/Level 2 Support Analyst for a 1 year term (possibility of an extension)

Job Summary:

The Active Directory Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and securing user access within an organization. This position is responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting Active Directory accounts, ensuring proper access to systems and applications, and collaborating with technical teams to support identity and access management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provision and manage Active Directory accounts and access to applications.
2. Work directly with clients to assist with account setup, security permissions, and access management.
3. Liaise with infrastructure and application teams to ensure proper access provisioning.
4. Process and maintain ServiceNow requests for security provisioning, ensuring timely implementation.
5. Develop, maintain, and deliver Active Directory administration processes and documentation.
6. Provide technical support in a courteous and responsive manner during migration projects.
7. Coordinate changes with support teams, following established change management processes.
8. Handle service desk requests, fulfill work requests, and resolve technical issues.
9. Communicate with clients, partners, and service teams via email and phone to provide updates.
10. Assist with special projects and organizational IT initiatives as needed.
11. Manage the ticket lifecycle, ensuring proper tracking of technical requirements.
12. Train and guide users on best practices for software applications and system access.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Active Directory administration and identity/access management.
• PowerShell scripting (familiarity with writing or running scripts)
• Excel experience (familiarity with VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUPS, PIVOT TABLES)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong understanding of security policies, access controls, and compliance best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot account and access issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Experience with change management and documentation processes.
