Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Real Estate Economics or related discipline.
• 4–7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, real estate investment, development or asset management.
• Real estate acquisitions or investment analysis experience preferred.
• CPA or CFA designation, or progress toward either, is an asset.

About the Role

The Acquisition Analyst will support the evaluation and execution of real estate investments, development opportunities and ongoing portfolio analysis. The role combines financial modelling and investment underwriting with commercial analysis to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and evaluate residential and commercial real estate acquisition and development opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models for acquisitions, development, value-add initiatives, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Analyze investment returns, cash flows, project economics and key investment assumptions.
• Support financial and operational due diligence, transaction execution and financing activities.
• Monitor portfolio, project and asset-level performance, including budget-to-actual analysis and cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare financial analyses, management reports, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct market and comparable-property analysis to support investment decisions.
• Collaborate with Acquisitions, Development, Construction, Asset Management and Finance to evaluate opportunities and support business objectives.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate financial information into actionable business insights.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial models, reporting processes and analytical tools.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Real Estate Economics or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, real estate investment, development, asset management, private equity or a related environment.
• Real estate industry experience strongly preferred, particularly in acquisitions, development or investment analysis.
• Strong financial modelling, underwriting, budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build and interpret sophisticated financial models.
• Strong understanding of investment returns, cash flow analysis and real estate financial performance.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, evaluate complex information and develop practical, decision-ready recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain financial information to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, initiative and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across functions.
• CPA or CFA designation, or progress toward either, considered an asset.
