ACP Applied Products

Construction Division

Base: Stony Plain, Alberta

Position: Labourer, Full-time Seasonal

Start Date: April 2025 (weather dependent)

Main Responsibilities

This position is part of the ACP Applied Products Construction Division. We are based in Stony Plain (20 minutes west of Edmonton) and may require working out of town approximately 50% of the time, as well as occasional night shifts. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for complying with safe work procedures and practices while you contribute to the team's road marking projects. Versatility, flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude are required in this position. Your responsibility is to provide support to the Construction Division in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Requirements
  • Must be available to start work immediately
  • A high school diploma or GED is an asset
  • Valid driver's license (Class 5) with a recent commercial driver's abstract
  • Must own reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform manual labour (ability to lift up to 40kg/90lbs)
  • Willing to work out of town occasionally, for up to 2 weeks at a time (Work in AB, BC, SK, YT, NWT & MB)
  • Willing to work occasional night shifts
  • Construction experience is an asset
  • Experience with safety regulations and safe practices is an asset
  • Ability to work in uncertain outdoor conditions
  • Ability to work overtime hours
  • Ability to comply with our Drug and Alcohol Policy, including a no tolerance policy on Cannabis use
