Job details

We are looking for a Powertrain Calibration Engineer who will report to the Manager, 4 strokes Calibration, and who will be tasked with developing the powertrain calibration of recreational products. As part of your role, you will be significantly contributing to the product development to reach customer expectations. You will be at the forefront of bringing a wide range of technical innovations related to engine control.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Be responsible for 4-stroke powertrain calibration project developments
  • Define and deploy engine control unit calibration strategies to meet product requirements
  • Participate and lead engine optimization tests on an engine dynamometer and in vehicle
  • Become familiar with the various processes, tools and software solutions used in your work environment
  • Collaborate on the development of engine control unit software
  • Establish calibration methodologies to reduce development time

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electric, Mechatronic or Robotic Engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of how engine and transmission control systems work
  • Be familiar with general physical, thermodynamic, mechanical, and electrical concepts
  • Dynamic person, driven by technical challenges and passionate about recreational products
  • Ideally some relevant work experience in powertrain or Mechatronic development
  • Functional bilingualism in French and English. Knowledge of English is a must, as the candidate will be interacting on a weekly basis with internal and external international stakeholders.
  • Experience with modern engine control units and software is a plus
