Possibility of teleworking
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of automated solutions tailored to customer needs. It also provides technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial engineering to on-site commissioning.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the progress of automation projects.
- Select automation equipment and components according to the needs of the project.
- Ensure cost, time and quality management.
- Participate in coordination meetings with clients and internal teams.
- Produce technical drawings using Autocad.
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) (e.g. Schneider, Allen-Bradley).
- Develop operator interfaces (HMI/SCADA) and supervision systems (e.g. Ignition, Wonderware).
- Configure and integrate industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
- Ensure on-site commissioning, including functional tests and adjustments.
- Offer after-sales service and follow up on completed projects.
- Provide technical support to customers (remote or on-site).
Skills soughts:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or any other equivalent training.
-Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in automation and control.
-*Fluency in English and French, spoken and written.
-Mastery of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and operator interfaces (HMI/SCADA).
-Good knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software (an asset).
-Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
-Available for occasional travel.
- Have an eye for detail.
-Possess good project management and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders at multiple hierarchical levels.
*Bilingualism is required for this position, as the majority of our suppliers and clients use English. This skill is essential, as approximately 50% of responsibilities will be in English and 50% in French.
