Why This Role is Open:

To meet the growing demand for our noise and vibration consulting services, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Engineer to join the Toronto team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct noise and vibration modelling using industry-standard software (CadnaA, Stamson, STAMINA, TNM, RAP-ONE, EASE)
  2. Perform sound and vibration measurements using specialized equipment (Larson Davis, Coco-80)
  3. Conduct site visits to collect data and assess regulatory compliance
  4. Participate in noise monitoring programs
  5. Liaise with clients and troubleshoot issues independently
  6. Mentor junior staff on noise and vibration consulting services
  7. Contribute to business development and client engagement activities
  8. Assist in the preparation of proposals

Must Haves:

  1. 2+ years of consulting experience in noise and vibration assessments
  2. Engineering Degree (Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical preferred)
  3. P.Eng eligibility
  4. Working knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
  5. Experience with noise and vibration modelling software (CadnaA, Stamson, STAMINA, TNM, RAP-ONE, EASE)
  6. Experience with sound and vibration measurement equipment (Larson Davis, Coco-80)
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice-to-Haves:

  1. Experience with industrial noise and vibration assessments
  2. Experience on large commercial or residential projects
  3. Knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation
  4. Strong communication skills
