Accounts Receivable Specialist (with Payroll Support)

Are you an emerging finance professional with experience in both Accounts Receivable and Payroll? Join a well-established construction and development firm in Vancouver that’s passionate about building high-quality residential projects across the Lower Mainland.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our finance team with AR processes and assist in payroll administration.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliations
  • Assist with weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff
  • Maintain accurate records of receivables and employee payroll data
  • Respond to client and employee inquiries related to billing and payroll
  • Support month-end closing procedures
  • Collaborate with the accounting and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate financial operations

What You Bring :

  • 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Payroll
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and basic BC employment standards
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
