The Organization

The Job

Reporting to the Operations Controller, the Accounts Receivable Specialist's main responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable functions such as receiving dealer remittances, entering data into the system, reconciliation, maintenance, and collection of dealer account balances.
  • Identify and implement effective receivables processes to improve collection timing and value.
  • Address dealer inquiries regarding account balances.
  • Reconcile and deposit daily bank deposits as required.
  • Review and process customer refunds and transfers.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Participate in interim and annual audits.
  • Support Management and Finance Team in projects and other finance tasks.
  • Perform reconciliations for specific general ledger accounts.
  • Participate in training for backup coverage of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Assist in report and system testing for the in-house operating system.
  • Provide reception support during vacations and sickness, including greeting visitors, receiving courier packages, and distributing mail.

  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service.

Education

  • Accounting or Business diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • At least 2 years in an accounting or finance environment.
