The Job
Reporting to the Operations Controller, the Accounts Receivable Specialist's main responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Receivable functions such as receiving dealer remittances, entering data into the system, reconciliation, maintenance, and collection of dealer account balances.
- Identify and implement effective receivables processes to improve collection timing and value.
- Address dealer inquiries regarding account balances.
- Reconcile and deposit daily bank deposits as required.
- Review and process customer refunds and transfers.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Participate in interim and annual audits.
- Support Management and Finance Team in projects and other finance tasks.
- Perform reconciliations for specific general ledger accounts.
- Participate in training for backup coverage of tasks and responsibilities.
- Assist in report and system testing for the in-house operating system.
- Provide reception support during vacations and sickness, including greeting visitors, receiving courier packages, and distributing mail.

Required Skills
- Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken, as this role involves dealing with French-speaking customers in Quebec.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Sage Intacct accounting software.
- Exceptional data entry skills with high accuracy and speed.
- Well-organized with the ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service.
Education
- Accounting or Business diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- At least 2 years in an accounting or finance environment.
What We Offer
- Hybrid work model, with three days in-office per week.
- Salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 plus bonus.
