Job description

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Procurify is the AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform for the mid-market. We make it easy for organizations to take control of spend and save money. We’re looking for a talented and team-driven AR Specialist to join us on our journey.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Procurify is looking for an outgoing, detailed oriented, and initiative-taking person who is passionate about end to end customer experience.

You are a person with a knack for using tools and automation to make finance workflows faster and smarter, and you’re motivated by helping our customers achieve the best version of themselves.

Everyone at Procurify is a team player. A big part of this role involves building relationships internally and externally and advocating for our customers. We’re seeking entrepreneurial people who are willing to challenge the status quo and contribute to larger strategic objectives.

What you’ll be working on:
  • Own and maintain accurate, up-to-date customer account records across systems, ensuring timely and correct invoicing

  • Review customer contracts and special billing terms to ensure precise and compliant invoice generation

  • Drive proactive collection efforts, including professional follow-ups on overdue accounts to optimize cash flow

  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering timely and clear support on billing and account questions

  • Prepare and analyze regular AR reports, providing insights to Finance and Leadership teams

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to resolve outstanding issues and improve the end-to-end receivables process

  • Play an essential role in month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting

  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and support related responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced, growing environment

Who we’re looking for
  • 1+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in a high-growth or fast-paced environment

  • Background in the software or technology industry is a strong asset, particularly with subscription or SaaS-based revenue models

  • Skilled in managing recurring billing schedules, account adjustments, and complex reconciliations with precision and efficiency

  • Demonstrated ability to balance timely collections with professionalism, while consistently completing all AR responsibilities to a high standard

  • Strong time management skills — able to prioritize effectively, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks without letting details slip

  • Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace, with hands-on experience using accounting platforms such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar systems and CRM platforms (such as Salesforce)

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying process improvements and collaborating across teams

  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day AR tasks; proactive in exploring new AI-driven solutions to optimize workflows and reporting

  • Bachelor degree preferred
