ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and record payments and receipts daily from the service and parts departments.
  • Follow up on all accounts receivable and send out any collection letters and make any collection phone calls.
  • Handle all customer enquiries on all accounts receivable and provide information as requested.
  • Check for recording accuracy and correct any errors to ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly invoices and statements on all accounts receivable.
  • Balancing inter-company transactions at month-end financial closing.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with previous experience in Automotive Dealership or body repair shop's accounting duties with CDK, Tekion, Reynolds & Reynolds.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively and professionally, and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • Ability to follow company's rules and instructions.
