A leading company in the roofing industry seeks an Accounting Assistant to join their finance team. This role involves supporting accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining records, and assisting with audits. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant (Accounts Receivable) will support the finance department by performing various clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails, and basic bookkeeping. This role is crucial in helping maintain accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
· Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is an asset
· Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is preferred
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
