Accounts Receivable

Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist role available immediately on a temp-to-hire basis in the Lehigh County area of PA. Hands-on AR experience required with the ability to work onsite 5 days a week.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Issuing daily customer invoicing
2. Processing daily cash applications for ACH and lockbox receipts, including preparing journal entries.
3. Calculating and posting periodic customer credit memos and account adjustments
4. Researching discrepancies in customer payments and account balances
5. Maintaining and updating Customer Master Files, including credit terms, bank info, and name/address changes
6. Daily review of sales orders on hold, collaborating with Customer Service reps
7. Weekly analysis of AR aging to identify past due accounts and issuing internal AR aging analysis
8. Collaborating with Sales and Customer Service teams to address past due balances and resolve account differences.
9. Reconciling AR subledger and GL balance sheet accounts with Accounting Supervisor and Controller
10. Monthly reconciliation of revenue accounts
11. Performing additional assigned duties as needed
